About the Veterans Crisis Line
The Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential support service operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help veterans, service members, and their loved ones during moments of crisis. The Veterans Crisis Line provides immediate assistance for individuals experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, or mental health emergencies, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Veterans Crisis Line supports U.S. military veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, as well as family members, caregivers, and friends who are concerned about a veteran or service member in crisis.
