About the United States Field Artillery Association
The United States Field Artillery Association (USFAA) is a nonprofit professional military association founded in 1910 to support, advance, and preserve the Field Artillery branch of the United States Army. The Association serves as a forum for professional development, doctrine discussion, and the preservation of artillery history and traditions.
Who the Association Serves
The United States Field Artillery Association serves active-duty, reserve, National Guard, retired, and veteran Field Artillery soldiers, as well as Department of Defense civilians, defense professionals, historians, and supporters of the Field Artillery branch.
What the Association Does
- Publishes Field Artillery magazine and other professional military content
- Supports professional education, leadership development, and doctrinal discussion
- Preserves and promotes the history and heritage of the Field Artillery branch

Where the Association Operates
The United States Field Artillery Association operates nationally with headquarters at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, the home of the U.S. Army Field Artillery School. Its publications, programs, and outreach serve members across the United States and abroad.
Membership Eligibility
The United States Field Artillery Association is a membership-based professional organization.
- Membership is open to current and former Field Artillery soldiers of the U.S. Army, including Active, Reserve, and National Guard components.
- Department of Defense civilians, allied professionals, and supporters of Field Artillery are also eligible.
- No combat service, wartime service, or lineage requirement applies.
How Membership Is Structured
Membership is administered through the national Association. Members engage through publications, professional forums, historical preservation initiatives, recognition programs, and events that advance the effectiveness and heritage of U.S. Field Artillery.
