About Navy SEAL Foundation
The Navy SEAL Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2000 to provide immediate and ongoing support to members of the U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC), Naval Special Warfare (NSW) veterans, and their families. The Foundation delivers critical assistance across the lifecycle of service, from active duty through transition, injury, and loss.
Who the Organization Serves
Navy SEAL Foundation serves active-duty and veteran members of Naval Special Warfare, including SEALs and SWCC, as well as their families and survivors. Support extends to those who are wounded, ill, transitioning to civilian life, or grieving the loss of a service member.
What the Organization Does
- Provides immediate financial assistance during times of crisis or transition
- Supports physical and mental health, including recovery and resilience programs
- Offers education assistance, family support, and survivor care
- Delivers transition assistance for veterans entering civilian life

Where the Organization Operates
Navy SEAL Foundation operates nationally and internationally, supporting the Naval Special Warfare community wherever they are stationed or reside. Services are coordinated through the Foundation’s headquarters and delivered directly to individuals and families as needs arise.
Eligibility for Services
Navy SEAL Foundation is not a membership-based organization. Eligibility applies to participation in programs and receipt of services.
- Services are available to active-duty and veteran members of Naval Special Warfare, including SEALs and SWCC.
- Immediate family members and survivors of eligible service members may qualify for support.
- Eligibility is determined based on service status, need, and program-specific criteria.
- Verification of Naval Special Warfare affiliation may be required.
How Services Are Structured
